Infrastructure for Community Impact

Building the Legal and Financial Infrastructure for UK Community Leaders

We help global majority, women-led, and grassroots groups navigate the two biggest barriers to impact: legal structure and funding access.

Inclusifund

How We Help:

1. Legal Structure Optimisation

  • Secure the right governance foundation. We guide you through registering as a Community Interest Company (CIC) or charitable entity, ensuring your Asset Lock and Articles of Association meet the strict compliance standards required by institutional funders.

2. Funding Translation & Policy Alignment

Funding calls are often gatekept by complex language. We handle your projects lifetime social impact data before you apply, translate policy criteria into plain English and help you align your project’s narrative with funder priorities.

3. Grant Readiness & Infrastructure

  • Success requires systems, not just stories. We help you implement the necessary operational infrastructure—from safeguarding policies to financial reporting templates—ensuring you are audit-ready and compliant.

4. Specialist Consultancy, Grounded in Systems Thinking.

  • We operate as a hybrid agency: providing high-level "Done-For-You" strategic services for organisations ready to scale, and a "Done-With-You" educational membership for leaders building their foundation.

  • Our methodology is not based on guesswork. It is built on a mastery of the five pillars of the UK funding landscape: Statutory Architecture, Grant-Making Trusts, Land-Based Mechanisms, Corporate ESG, and Philanthropic Capital.

  • Here is how we work with you:

    1. The Agency: Strategic Consultancy (Done-For-You) For organisations needing execution, not just advice, we act as your technical partner. We handle the heavy lifting of compliance and capital acquisition so you can focus on delivery.

    • Bid Writing & Grant Strategy: We identify "fundable" alignment within the complex landscape of UK statutory bodies and independent trusts.

    • Enterprise & PR Strategy: We align your narrative with Corporate CSR and ESG targets, positioning you for partnerships beyond standard grants.

    • Land & Asset Acquisition: Specialised support for Community Asset Transfers and blended finance models.

    • How to Access: These services are bespoke.

About the Founder

From Street Coach to Social Strategist — Reece Dunn’s Journey

Reece Dunn | Social Impact Strategist

Reece blends grassroots insight with rigorous systems thinking to bridge the gap between frontline communities and institutional capital. From his background in youth work and community organising, Reece recognised that passion alone does not secure funding...governance does.

Today, InclusiFund operates not as a personal brand, but as a translation engine, decoding the "language of power" for leaders who have been historically overlooked by traditional funding networks.

About Us

Inclusifund exists to unlock funding, land, and legal power for grassroots changemakers — especially leaders from disenfranchised communities, and social visionaries building from the ground up.

We know the system wasn’t built for us — but we also know how to work it, flip it, and funnel resources into our communities. Whether you’re already running a CIC, leading an unregistered group, or just starting with a bold idea, Inclusifund gives you the tools, templates, and strategic support to get funded and gain ground — literally.

Our approach is:

Culturally intelligent — because lived experience matters.

Legally rooted — we help you navigate structures like CICs and Co-ops that protect your mission.

Tactically generous — we teach you the real moves to unlock public money and build community wealth.

This isn’t just about grants — it’s about leverage.

We’re here to make sure you don’t just apply, you qualify — with clear next steps for every stage of your journey.

STILL GOT QUESTIONS?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a CIC?

A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a specific legal structure in the UK designed for social enterprises. Unlike a standard business, it includes an "Asset Lock" to ensure profits are reinvested into the community. Funders often prefer this structure because it legally mandates transparency and mission alignment.

Do I need to be registered to get funding?

While some micro-grants exist for unregistered groups, scaling your impact usually requires a formal legal structure (CIC, Charity, or Co-op). Registration provides the governance and bank account accountability that major funders require.

What if I don’t have a track record yet?

Our Community Hub+ is designed for this stage. We provide the "Project Planning" and "Evidence of Need" templates required to build a logic model and demonstrate demand, even before you have years of financial history.

Do you guarantee that I will get funding?

No ethical consultancy can guarantee a grant outcome. We operate on a model of "Grant Readiness" and "Risk Mitigation." We guarantee that your governance, policies, and logic models will meet the strict compliance standards required by statutory bodies and trusts, significantly increasing your eligibility—but the final decision always rests with the funder.

Can I apply using my personal bank account?

No. Institutional funders require a dedicated organisational bank account, typically with at least two unrelated signatories. This acts as a primary governance check to ensure funds are managed transparently and separated from personal finances.

How fast can you help me get land?

Land access is a structural legal process, not a quick transaction. Unlike a grant application, acquiring land involves feasibility studies, council asset transfer policies, and long statutory timelines. We help you build the "Evidence of Need" and governance structure required to navigate this system, but you must be prepared for the operational reality of a long-term campaign.

What if I have a unique idea — like a mobile app, land project, or creative programme?

Great — that’s exactly who we built this for. You can use our filters or chatbot to find funders who support tech, eco, creative and grassroots innovations. Start free, and level up if you want step-by-step tools.

Can I pay myself a salary as a CIC Director?

Yes. Unlike many traditional charity trustee roles, a CIC structure allows Directors to be paid for their work. However, this must be reasonable, transparent, and balanced against the "Asset Lock" that ensures the majority of value remains with the community. We help you structure this so it is sustainable rather than extractive.
